He pointed out that judicial cooperation is essential to their bilateral relationship, and stated his belief that the delegation's visit would open a new page for the two sides' judicial communication and cooperation.

Zhou briefly introduced the progress China has made on the building of rule of law and the work of Chinese courts. He said he hopes that the two sides will share their experience with each other in such areas as the application of information technology and judge training.

Doris Luz Rivas Galindo, grand justice of the Supreme Court of El Salvador and head of the delegation, said she was impressed with the achievements China had made in the application of information technology, and hopes that the countries will deepen their judicial cooperation.
